EXPERIENCE

2013-2014 Senior Designer Atlantic Engineering Group, Braselton, GA. Performed quality control on FTTH designs to insure they met customer criteria, performing redesigns when needed, and making changes per field walkout notes. Customer was Google Fiber. 

 

2012-2013 Contractor NX Utilities, San Antonio, TX. Identified, engineered and designed most efficient route of FOC serving commercial businesses for Florida Power and Light in San Antonio, TX. Responsible for permitting aerial an underground FOC, and documenting Make ready issues and solutions. All work was required to meet NESC code.

 

2011-2012 Contractor Gibson Technical Services, Canton, GA. Completed as-built mapping of Charter Communications FOC in the state of Georgia. Noted all make ready issues and solutions. Additionally, I performed as-built mapping of select HFC sites.

 

2010-2011 Field Engineer Turnkey Network Solutions, Grand Rapids, MI. Identified, engineered and designed most efficient FOC routes connecting police stations, fire stations, libraries and schools in Northern Michigan. Gathering all information necessary for permitting and documenting all make ready issues. Customer was the state of Michigan.

 

2008-2010 Contractor S&W Communications, Phoenix, AZ. Took part in sweep, splicing, and rebuild of existing cable TV system. This was a 1 gigabyte upgrade of entire valley area. Customer was Cox Communications.

 

2005-2008 Contractor Truevance Management Inc, Jacksonville, FL. Supervised a crew of 10 quality control contractors for a 1 gigabyte upgrade to all customer properties throughout Kansas and Arkansas. Responsible for training new hires, making sure all deadlines were met, ensuring professionalism while spot checking, assisting, and advising crew, identifying discrepancies between existing system and maps. Updating as-built maps as needed. Customer was Cox Communications.
